Accreditation

"Accreditation" is a process that asks the school to demonstrate the capacity, commitment, and competence of all stakeholders to support high-quality student learning and ongoing school improvement. Accreditation is a vehicle for the school to focus on the learning and growth of today's students and on the practices that will ensure the long-term sustainability necessary for schools to be able to serve future generations of students as well."

WMS received official Accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges in 2014 for 2014-2020.  The report recapping this visit and recommendations may be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

A two-person mid-cycle Accreditation Committee visited WMS in April 2017 - please scroll to the bottom of this page, click on the down arrow to download the mid-cycle report.

Now, as we enter the 2019-20 school year, we are concluding our initial Action Plans and developing a new Self-Study in anticipation of a visit by a new Accreditation Committee in April 2020.  All members of our WMS faculty and staff as well as members of our Local Advisory Panel and several family members are participating on the new Self-Study groups to ensure a comprehensive review of our programs and services.  Info: Pat Rice (887-6090 Ext. 269) or Pat_Rice@wmpccs.org
