  • IMPORTANT Transportation Update as of Fri., Nov. 15, 2019 STUDENT TRANSPORTATION:  For families whose students depend on transportation to and from school, one of our buses will be back in service tomorrow – Fri., Nov. 15, 2019.  Please see the attached letter and schedules for details.  Students living on the “wet side” of Waimea will be bused AM and PM.  There is no change in AM van schedules for “dry side” Waimea students.  These students will ride the bus home in the PM but will be departing campus later.   Please call the school office if you have questions.

RESOURCE FAIR:  5-7 p.m., Wed., Dec. 4, 2019.  Sponsored by Waimea Middle School in our new STEAM Learning Center. Free and entire community invited to participate in a gallery walk of community support programs, services and opportunities for the entire family - keiki to kupuna.   • OHA Board approves $3 million in grant funding for Hawaiian-focused charter schools October 2019:  The OHA Board of Trustees has approved $3 million in grant funding over the next two fiscal years to support 17 Hawaiian-focused charter schools, including Waimea Middle School.  We thank the trustees for this support for our student's academic progress.  https://www.oha.org/news/oha-board-approves-3-million-in-grant-funding-for-hawaiian-focused-charter-schools/
