Home-Hospital Tutors Needed

We are in need of finding a few teachers who are willing to serve as home-hospital tutors in the case that we get students whose medical needs prevent them from attending school.  When you work as a home-hospital tutor, you visit students at home on a scheduled basis and are paid for your time.  Please see Jamie if you’re interested in this opportunity.

Beginning-of-Year Conferences & Observations

I plan to meet with each teacher next week for a beginning-of-the-year conference about professional growth.  Please see my previous e-mail for your scheduled time and the template of questions to guide the conversation.  Additionally, I plan to start getting into classrooms next week – If I stop in and complete an observation, I’ll always contact you for a time to get back together to debrief.

School-Wide Wish-List

LAP members and other potential donors/community friends have asked “what do we need?”  A draft list was distributed at Monday’s Leadership meeting to discuss with all faculty-staff for input and will be discussed further at LAP, then finalized to set priorities that reflect our vision/mission/academic goals and budget limitations.  List items came (mostly) from “wish lists” created by grade levels and departments at the end of last year; your input is invited – ASAP to Patti Cook to finalize for Monday’s LAP meeting.    If you want to see list, see your GLC or Department Head or email/call Patti.
